ADHD,  I am writing you this letter today to let every mom and dad out there with a kid who suffers with ADD, ADHD, ODD or any other behavior disorder that there is another way to help these kids without medicating them with a bunch of harsh mood altering prescription drugs! In Feb 2005, my own son was diagnosed with ADHD by a psychiatrist. I was told that he would need to be put on a prescription mood altering drugs. I didn't know whether to laugh at her or cry!  I am one grateful mom today and really glad I didn't accept the recommendation to drug my child. He is now happy, has friends, is well adjusted and has beaten the battle against ADHD and yours can too! That was over 3 years ago, and he still continues to do incredibly well in school. We won the battle against “the man”, you can too! Did you know that parents receiving welfare money from the government can get additional funds for every child that they have labeled and drugged? In this way, many lower socio-economic parents (many times single mothers like me) are reeled into the drugging by these financial incentives waved in front of them in hard times, making lifestyle changes possible. Did you know that there are studies such as the Berkeley Study that contends that Ritalin and other stimulants further raise the risk of drug abuse? From the Wall Street Journal, Monday, May 17, 1999 by Marilyn Chase: "Nadine Lambert, a professor of education, followed almost 500 children for 26 years. She argues that exposure to Ritalin makes the brain more susceptible to the addictive power of cocaine and doubles the risk of abuse." I am just one mom but I know if I speak loud enough I will be able to help kids out there that cannot speak for themselves. Please help them. Say NO to drugs for kids! ADHD & DIABETES Hello, my name is Larc Hagen and I have an 11 year old daughter that was diagnosed with adhd when she was 6,at the time the doctor said it was not a bad case of so they did not prescribe her any medications. When she turned 9 it seemed to become full blown adhd she could not concentrate on anything for more than 5 minutes before she was off doing something else. The doctor decided to put her on omega 3 fish oil but after 6 months it was not doing very much for her so he decided to put her on concerta, after 6 months they decided that the dose was to small so they upped her dosage. This caused her to have sleepless nights and other side effects. At that time the doctor decided to put her on ridilin. I was not happy with the decision but she needed something to calm her down as she was being a terror in school. After 3 months on ridilin she was chewing her lips to pieces and when brought her back to her doctor he noticed she had a twitch. After watching her he called me in and told me that she has a touch of territs from the ridilin at that point I told the doctor she is coming off the ridilin as it is causing her more problems. I told him that I am going to look for something natural that will help her. I searched the internet for a month or so and I found this what I call a wonder juice. The end of June I decided to buy some and try it as we had nothing to loseand a lot to gain if this worked. We decided that if she was going to take the juice we all would take it.
